HIPAA Transactions

All medical claims should be submitted through Independence Blue Cross.  For information concerning the submission of HIPAA standard transaction claims for medical treatment of Fund participants, please visit

If you are a participating provider in either of the Fund’s Dental PPO or Vision PPO programs, dental or vision claims should be submitted through the dental/vision PPO program administrator, Louis P. Mattucci & Associates.

If you are not a participating provider in either the Dental PPO or Vision PPO programs and are interested in electronically submitting HIPAA standard transactions to the Fund, please review the Fund’s Electronic Trading Partner Agreement and Provider Companion Guide. If acceptable, return the signed Trading Partner Agreement to the Fund office to arrange for setup and testing.
